I've always wanted to work with people. Osteopathy turned out to be the best way I know how.

Hi, I'm Dexter, the owner of Method Osteopathy.

I called this place Method because I think good care has one. A way of listening, a way of finding what's actually wrong, and a way of working through it together until you actually feel better.

I grew up as an athlete. Baseball, squash, whatever was in season. And with that came a lot of injuries and a lot of time spent trying to figure out how to feel good again. Looking back, that's probably where all of this started.

I spent eight years in school trying to figure out exactly where I fit in. I first studied Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph because I knew I wanted to work with people, work with the body, I just didn't know in what way. I looked at physio, chiropractic, a few other paths and none of them felt quite right.

Then a close friend told me about osteopathy. Honestly, that was the moment everything made sense. I trained at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and it's the best decision I've made.

What I can promise is that when you come in, I'm actually going to listen, figure out what's going on, and work through it with you. That's it really. I'm glad you're here.

MY STORY

Every session starts with listening. Not just to the complaint that brought you in, but to the full picture. Where you've been, what you've tried, what's working and what isn't. From there we work through it together, adjusting as your body responds. No rigid protocols, just honest hands-on work focused on getting you better.
